How about a folder for 'works in progress', for the purpose of discussing unfinished, possibly stalled projects? It could be useful for those projects that might never otherwise see the light of day. They might even attract a co-author, or an idea to get one out of a corner and on with the narrative.
Writer's block sucks, but even an unfinished symphony can have some merit, right?
No doubt other people have their own wish list, too.

That's a very good idea, Bryony, I'll get right on it (well, I say "right on it" - I'm fairly new to this Dominant Webmistress lark, so you may have to bear with me!)

Ooo.. Webmistress... Sounds rather... You know what? Never mind lol.
Should be easy to create another sub folder for works in progress so each individual could created their own thread for what ever work they have going on. Possibly make it visible to members only if thats possible, keeps it more private for the authors.
Becca
Edited because autocorrect and my phone get a kick out of embarrassing me.

I'd be up for that. The work in progress folder that is. The whole 'webmistress' thing has me a little worried...

I would be up for this as well as writers block sucks sometimes it takes ages to complete a chapter for many reasons and at other times it like having a tap running that you cant turn off it just flows and flows.
I have a story idea that has had a plot sitting from February 2016 before I even considered writing stories, This was a plot idea suggest to another author friend Nikkie Silk (cockatoo series of stories) from a comment in reply to "Rear Window" about his favorite Hitchcock film. Nikkie replied the plot looks fine why not write it yourself. It is an idea based around "North by North West" with a TG theme. Have the film now so just need time to watch it to expand the story round the idea.
And all this before I started posting my first efforts as a writer yet to consider myself an author, I dabble with TG stories
Well its still to be expanded as the plot idea needs filling out

Well with your aviator of yours Crissy, Christina is a bit formal for a webmistress, An image of a spider luring its target into her web comes into my fertile mind

Well considering she asked me to help co-admin, Guess Chrissy got her 'heavy' for the site.. Considering with the heels I'm wearing for the housewarming I'm currently headed to puts me at 6'5 and I'm still built like a linebacker... Chrissy can just sit back and relax lol

Look on the bright side, Becca - 80s-style shoulder pads are still de rigueur in the NFL

Hey, Management... Do you think a humour section might be good? (Because everything else around here is so sensible, obviously.) “Suddenly, ninjas!” is actually a well-known writer’s trick, for when you’ve written yourself into a corner and you don’t know what to lob in next.

I think it's a great idea, though I'm more than a little perplexed that one of our contributors seems to think this place is managed...

'Suddenly, Ninjas' would be a great title for a story. We should do a writing contest in that name ;-)
