We had a good time in the chat last night, although I only had half an eye on it as I was trying to be all grown-up and productive. While we were chatting, I was signing up with Wordpress, who will be hosting my new blog, Sugar and Spiiice. I’m going to write occasional articles about trans-stuff there, and mirror my Fictionmania stories too. Already, I’m finding it a lot easier to tweak and polish my uploads, this way. It’s a real revelation. No doubt I’ll have to add twitter and all that jazz in the fullness of time. Meanwhile, I can’t say that I’m going to be a frequent blogger (I have too many stories unfinished to take on another writing project) but it turns out that Wordpress is a nice platform. Astonishing that it’s basically free. It was Chrissy’s use of Wordpress that caused me to check it out. If you haven’t evaluated it, you should.

Thanks for the acknowledgement, Bryony; it's nice to know someone appreciates the maid's efforts. Can I offer you a cup of tea?

(In reply to Kat...) I’ll bear that in mind. Some lovely corsets in the victorian era... I could write something retro with, I dunno... trunions in it.
Thanks for stopping by the blog!
(And to Chrissy, yes please! Two lumps for me.)

Two lumps of tea? Tall order, but I'll see what we've got in the pantry.

I’ve head that you have something unexpected in your pantry. At least, I think that’s what they said...

I was wondering who it would be that came out with that one.

Great blog! Why not do a blog about TG fiction that involves traction engines? I dare say it's an underserved market.

Great blog! Why not do a blog about TG fiction that involves traction engines? I dare say it's an underserved market. There’s niche and there’s nanoniche, Jessica. I have the feeling that we will be returning to traction engines once in a while, though. Because... why the heck not? Meanwhile, a new post is up, entitled ‘How Many Stories?’... here. It turns out that there are at most thirty-six basic plots – although some analysis puts it as low as seven, or even three. This goes some way to explain Paul G. Jutras’ endless series of “turned into a piece of clothing” stories, I suppose. Anyway, enjoy.

Bryony - you just need to moderate the comments so that they can actually be seen now (if you want to that is)!

I moderated as soon as I got back to civilisation. I believe that I have things set up such that a commenter, once approved, can continue to post without further delay. At least, that was the box I ticked. We shall see.
Thanks for stopping by!
