Just wanted to let everyone know I'm stuck in a school for the next two weeks. Nothing like being stuck in a class 8 hours a day for 10 days... I'm 'here' but time is a bit limited. Thinking of making in the humor section a 'diary' of this trip... Imagine a trans gal stuck in Kansas in a maintenance school... so far it's been a few humorous days.
Anyway breaks over and I gotta go back to class

Pilots: Dead bugs on windshield. Engineers: Live bugs on back-order.
Pilots: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear. Engineers: Evidence removed.
Pilots: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick. Engineers: That's what they're for.
Pilots: Number 3 engine missing. Engineers: Engine found on right wing after brief search.

I did tell a pilot once that it appeared that we had a faulty stick grip actuator... A few minutes later (when her got it) he got really mad st me, go figure.
