It's gone a bit quiet around here. I've found this a really useful space not only to support my writing, but also to support the mixed up, confusing way I'm wired up. Thank you. But it is getting quiet so I'm wondering how we make it more appealing, what do people want from a place like TransScripts. I would hate to see it fade away.

A mention on FM or BC (those of you that post there, eh, Tanya?), maybe?
Probably best to leave my name out of it, though...

It might be worth mentioning that this is a sissy-free zone

I suppose a better way of looking at it might be; What do the existing members want from the site?

Less half backs trying to lord it over us noble forwards?
Really a place to support each other's endeavours in the fight against the sissyfication of TG fiction. Comment and get help on works.

Less half backs trying to lord it over us noble forwards? Less? There aren't enough as it is! Besides, 'noble forwards' is a contradiction in terms. Yeah, things have tailed off here a lot in comparison with the early days, but as long as it's still useful for some of you, I'm happy.

I just need to sort my life out and spend more time on here. I also need to redo the TransScripts website and get things moving that way. Does anybody have any ideas of what sort of things we can offer prospective writers to lure them into our clutches? (I mean promote our services.) I was thinking of proofreading, cover design, editing and even an agency of sorts. All with charges, we can't so things for free, but equally I think £500 to design a book cover is a total rip off. Mine take a few hours at most (don't say it, Chrissy) but it'd be nice for us all to earn a little pin money.

Hi Anna! New girl here. Editing/agency would be something I'm interested in.

Nice to see you back, Anna. Regarding the editing/proofreading idea, I quite like that there is some of that here already, albeit amongst friends and I think that's one of the most useful things we do for each other. I'm happy to read through anybody's work and offer my thoughts, but wouldn't do it for money. Cover design would be useful, from those of us with the talent for it.
