Been following this guy for a while over on www.tradingpostinn.com He now has his own site liamslade.com/blog/. Liam's a rarity-- he's a cis gendered AMAB who writes non-fetish TG. And it's written thoughtfully and compassionately, imho In his latest story, Stephen: a Love Story, a reserved male accountant becomes a reserved female accountant via a rare "Only in TG fiction" condition. At first take, it's a bit humorous-- it's from the point of view of her boyfriend. Instead of becoming all girly and the usual TG stuff, she's...pretty much the same. Think Amy from the Big Bang Theory. But he takes it further than just that running joke and has some very thoughtful points about what identity really is, and maybe a bit of a comment about why some cis guys are turned on by TG stuff.

For those who are interested (and not yet aware), I've since uploaded two works of significant length: I CHANGED SEXES WITH MY WIFE is a relationship fable about a young couple who find themselves attempting to their reversed roles. Inside, they're the same people that they always were... aren't they? (18000 word novella) KRISTI'S MOM is a full-length novel telling the story of 17-year-old Kyle, who finds his body stolen by his friend's beautiful and desirable mom. A neglected middle child, Kyle relishes the freedom that comes with adulthood and the attention that comes with being a beautiful woman, but soon finds he has no idea what he's been brought into. I hope you'll check them out and enjoy them. You can search LIAM SLADE in your local Amazon market, or visit liamslade.com/writing/ for more information -- those who download from my Gumroad get special prices.

For those who may have missed it, I've got a new work out! THE PRINCESS AWAKENING is a novella (35,000 words) about the Prince of a Central European country who dies young and is reborn as an average girl in sunny California. Once her memories are awakened, can she become the Princess she was meant to be? You can find in on Amazon Kindle in all markets by searching Liam Slade (US Link: www.amazon.com/dp/B09FDJJRKT)All my works are also on Smashwords for those of us who don't love Amazon (I've gotten off Gumroad do to some issues with them as a platform): www.smashwords.com/profile/view/liamsladeHope you enjoy!

Thanks Katerina! And in a surprising turnaround I have a new short free fic (~8000 words) that you can read here: liamslade.com/writing/the-writers-dilemma/It's sort of an "Adaptation" like metafiction where TGFic Author Liam Slade signs up for a cloning experiment to try to experience more of life and make more time for writing, only for the clone to come out ("unexpectedly," sure) female, complicating things. It's a meditation on the creative process and the compromises we have to negotiate as creators, which is of course always a huge seller. Enjoy and be kind!

Finally got some time for reading this morning. Really liked this one. As you know, I'm fond of more "realistic" stories, at least in the sense of what it's actually like learning to live as a woman. Mom jeans are in fact awesome The sexuality thing is always interesting to me. Is Sarah truly Liam, though? A female brain is wired differently than a man's, and presumably the cloned brain developed as a cis-het woman. And hormones change how you think and react a LOT. So, her becoming interested in a guy from work is totally realistic imho. At least she's not some airhead blonde with a crush on her chief pilot (Please don't write that story, okay?)

So, her becoming interested in a guy from work is totally realistic imho. At least she's not some airhead blonde with a crush on her chief pilot (Please don't write that story, okay?) Having the Maddy seal of approval always means a lot This was something I wanted to write for a while, but only recently became time for it. "Is Sarah truly Liam, though?" Perhaps she's Liam until proven otherwise. She actually has a remit to be as little like Liam as possible, but we as readers are left to contemplate whether she'll grow beyond decisions he would have made, or revert to type. My take is that she's like Liam the same way my brothers are like me. We see the differences in our personalities, outsiders go "You are the same person!" "Presumably the cloned brain developed as a cis-het woman."Who knows? As I said privately, down the line she may determine herself be a transman/transmasc, or nonbinary, for all we know. All the doctors did was give her an X-chromosome. She's definitely experimenting with being a heterosexual cisgender female. She's probably bi, though. I think she's probably a little like the character of Laura from Casual (Hulu series now on Netflix)... which is not necessarily a compliment, depending on the degree of similarity... But of course, everything I truly have to say about the story is in the story. The rest is just conjecture based on my interpretation, and I left a lot of ambiguity there. This is a story where we don't have an all-access pass into Sarah's psyche. And I wouldn't presume to know more about this stuff than anyone else, so whatever interpretation the dear reader wants to bring to it, it's valid in my books. Hell, I might risk disgruntling people by saying too much about it so I'll shut up now It's fun to hear different peoples' takes on things I have written, and I'm always pleased when I write something that invites thought! "some airhead blonde with a crush on her chief pilot (Please don't write that story, okay?)"Idea #47 for the list...

Hi all, In case you haven't heard, I've put out a special new story for the holidays, A HOLIDAY WISH. It tells the story of Jordan, who wishes he could do more for his eight-months-pregnant wife Riley as Christmas approaches. He gets his wish in the strangest way, when he wakes up to find himself as a pregnant woman, with Riley playing the role of supportive, if frazzled, husband! It's 18,000 words of what I would call a grounded yet romantic story. Some sexual content. Available on Amazon Kindle or on Smashwords. You can read more about it here: liamslade.com/writing/a-holiday-wish/Hope you enjoy!

Big news from the writing world of Liam Slade... and you're hearing it first! My new novella BOTH is now available on Amazon Kindle and Smashwords. www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4JRWDQ2www.smashwords.com/books/view/1390527BOTH is a 32,000 word novella that tells the story of Lucy, a young woman who is excited to reconnect with her old flame Shawn after he ghosted her years ago. Shawn has a secret though: at irregular intervals that he can sometimes control, "he" becomes a "she." Shawn has always kept people at arm's length for this reason, fearing nobody would understand, but are they finally ready to share themself with Lucy? Or will the secrets and shadows of the past threaten the relationship? Like a lot of my work, it focuses very heavily on relationship dynamics and emotional states. I hope that people who have read my other work get a kick out of it. The other piece of news is that I'm finally posting the Author's Edition of my novel Kristi's Mom. The new edition features an epilogue, a new short story expanding on the main character's adventures over the summer, and "alternate routes" that might have happened had things been... different. Kristi's Mom: Author's Edition is not available on Amazon Kindle just yet, but it is on Smashwords. www.smashwords.com/books/view/1390500In the back of the original edition of the novel, I offered a coupon code for a special rebate that unfortunately I was not able to use. You may be able to update your edition for a new code on Smashwords. Because you're good folks, I will give you the coupon here: KJ45HUnfortunately I am not able to offer any discounts on Kindle due to the requirement of exclusivity, but I hope to get around to posting some of the bonus material as its own thing for those who really prefer to have it on Kindle. Thanks for your support and don't forget to check liamslade.com for more updates!

Congrats on your latest, Liam. I believe you will find that the Kindle requirement for exclusivity only lasts ninety days, if that helps?
I’ll be on Smashwords for the first time in the near future...

I see "exclusive" coming from a company like Amazon and I want no part of it, so I probably didn't read closely enough!
