I have just downloaded a copy. It's promising... Started well, but grew too introspective for me. I got bored and skim read the last third.

That looks alright, although it’s no longer free.
Too introspective, you say?
There’s a lot of that about.

It was a great start and telling the story from the viewpoint of two sisters was well set up, but it was a little too sweet by the end. And I love a happy ending. The trans character wasn't at the centre of it, which I found surprising. However, when I accepted the story was really about Julie and Barbara, the sisters,it came together a bit more. The author knows her stuff though, it's definitely from the heart.

Bear The Cost by Christine Bailey is a lesbian TG love story wrapped around a Godfather-like storyline. Good writing and great characters. Pick it up while it's free!

Not the best thing I've ever read, but far from the worst: A Lord in Ladies' ClothingSomething of a light read, shouldn't be taken entirely seriously. For those outside the Sceptred Isle, it's by Louis Charon.

This is free again (as I type); if you haven't got a copy, I can highly recommend that you do. Chained Melodies

Looks as if Colette is free again for Kindle Unlimited, if you have that. I snagged a copy There's actually a lot of TG books out there on Kindle Unlimited. It can be hit or miss, but hey, you can always return them.

Just downloaded this, intrigued by the synopsis. Free at the time of posting. No Ordinary ManI have got about a quarter of the way through and given up. The writing style is a bit flat and impersonal, I haven't found much of a TG storyline while the military background is detailed, but not captivating.

I recently listened to an audiobook of ‘Monstrous Regiment’ by Terry Pratchett, which is kind of TG/feminist and lots of fun. There’s a dodgy copy of the audiobook on Youtube, if you want to give it a go. Loads of ‘stolen’ audiobooks on Youtube lately. (Use an ad blocker, obviously. Nobody needs to be interrupted by ads.) I’m loving the audiobook format because I can listen while I’m busy with gardening, decorating or whatever. Linkie: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OirwrRhdMFoBe good! Bx
